From Atlanta take I-75 North to I-575 North, which becomes Hwy 515 North. About 2 miles past the town of Blue Ridge, GA, turn left at traffic light onto GA Hwy 60 toward Mineral Bluff. After approx. 3 miles, in the town of Mineral Bluff, turn right onto Spur 60 and continue 15 miles until Hwy 60 dead ends into Hwy 19/74.
Turn right onto US Hwy 19/74 East. You will pass through Murphy and
continue towards Andrews. At Andrews turn right at the first light.
Look for a sign on right for Nantahala Shores. Just beyond the sign, turn right on Big Choga Rd. Continue on Big Choga for about 3 miles (Stay on the pavement; do not turn onto any gravel or dirt roads) and you'll see Nantahala Lake on the left. Continue by the lake till the road turns to gravel. Shortly after the beginning of the gravel road, look to the right and there is ‘Your Lake Cabin’. Brown cedar wood with a large stone chimney, facing the lake. Approx. driving time from Andrews is 20 min. The 2 to 2 1/2 hour, 110 mile trip is a beautiful scenic drive through the valleys of the Western North Carolina Mountains.
