To give you an idea of what our guests say
about our other cabins we included the comments of nearby 'Moonlight
Reflections' below until we receive comments for 'Fish Hook Inn':
We really
enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was really secluded and it was such a
beautiful drive over the mountains to get there. It was beyond our
expectations. We had a wonderful time. Thanks again for everything!!! You
helped make our trip amazing!! Sincerely, Stephanie.
We
once again had a fabulous time at the cabin. Everything was perfect!
We will definitely be back again. Dawn.
We really did enjoy our stay
at your cabin. It was clean, cozy and relaxing. The views and the lake
were really special and we'll hold on to those fond memories for a life
time. You really have an excellent place there and you're definitely doing
things right. My only suggestion would be to have additional
brochures/maps of the area (things to do, etc.). Thanks!! Western North
Carolina is definitely on our radar of 'places to retire.' Lynne

Area Activities
There's plenty to do in the area. The cabin is just a
short drive from the white water rafting and kayaking venues on the
Nantahala and Ocoee rivers. That's in addition to all the great
activities the North Carolina Smokies have to offer - Boating on
Nantahala Lake - You may bring your own boat or jet ski, or rent
a pontoon boat.
Fishing - A relatively low number of boaters makes Nantahala a great
fishing lake. You'll find walleye, crappie, sunfish, trout and bass
all available for your private fish fry at Moonlight Reflections. And
below the dam, where the river cascades toward the Nantahala Gorge,
you'll find some of the best fly fishing spots in the eastern US.
Horseback riding- Several nearby stables, including Lonesome Dove
Stables, offer guided trail riding.
Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, in nearby Dillsboro and Bryson City,
offers several scenic excursions. Mountain Biking - The nearby Tsali
trails offer some of the best mountain biking trails. Bikes can be
rented at the Nantahala Outdoor Center .
